The integration of electromobility into the vehicle fleet with existing, intelligent energy and transport networks in a »simple« and »smart« way creates great challenges for companies. In the research project »eMobility-Scout« a cloud based IT solution was designed, implemented and tested under logistic, economic and energetic aspects.
The project consortium of »eMobility-Scout« (Carano Software Solutions, BVG Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe, in-integrierte informationssysteme, TU Dresden) developed a holistic mobility platform in which the areas of energy, fleet and infrastructure are linked. The project was carried out by the five partners by bringing together the services designed and developed by the respective partners in various test fields to form an overall solution. The partner BVG gathered experience about the daily application, which enabled the IT solution to be tested and further developed under real conditions.
As part of »eMobility-Scout«, the »eFleet-Cockpit« was created, which provides companies with an overview of their fleet, its charge status and energy flows in real time. It is based on a platform that offers companies the greatest possible comfort in the handling of e-vehicles, but in particular also when used in heterogeneous fleets. The aim of this system is to make it easier for companies to enter the field of electromobility and integrate electric vehicles into existing structures.
